Air Conveyor Systems

Eurovent Blower offers an extensive line of air handling equipment for conveying powder and bulks solids. The bulk density of the materials such as food or metal materials must be determined in order to convey materials by air. Our fans are designed to produce high velocity air to carry materials from the processing stage to the collection stage. Fans are also utilized for conveying purposes that will provide additional cooling and aeration to the materials if needed.

Boiler Systems

Depending on the application, boiler systems are used throughout many different industries for generating steam and electric energy. Boiler applications require forced draft fans to provide combustion air as well as induced draft fans to remove products of combustion and maintain the required draft. Over-fire air fans, primary air and FGR fans are utilized to circulate flue gases to various parts of the system. Combustion Air Systems

Eurovent supplies rugged-duty, forced-draft fans for burner systems. Stable airflow and constant pressure are the key requirements of combustion blowers. Eurovent designs include several aerodynamic elements that ensure pulsation-free flow and pressure. High speed dryers often use the velocity from the burner supply fans to fluidize or convey the product being heated. Paint finishing for metal products, drying of building materials and graphic arts drying, can occur at conveyor speeds in excess of 2.5 m/s. There is no possibility of inconsistent air supply in these systems. Eurovent has the products for these applications.

Dust collector Systems

Eurovent Blower is a leading provider of fans and blowers for the dust collection industry. Various industries use dust collection systems within their facilities to control and remove harmful particles from entering into the airstream. Our fans are used for either supplying dirty corrosive air into the system or exhausting clean filtered air out of the system. Whether it is sawdust, metal scraps, or welding smoke, we manufacture a variety of pre-engineered and custom heavy duty fans to control the harsh particles exhausted into the air streams.

HVAC Systems

Ventilation is the process of "changing" or replacing air in any space. Ventilation includes both the exchange of air to the outside as well as circulation of air within a building.

Painting Systems

Removal of paint fumes and paint over-spray from a manufacturing area is a specialized ventilation application. The airflow volume must be low enough to not affect the application of the finishing system materials and must be great enough to remove any toxic over-spray or fumes from the workspace. This is accomplished by precise removal of air across the face of the spray booth and through the paint arresters or scrubber system. The fans must be of adequate pressure rating to overcome the filtration losses. At the same time, the fans must be quiet enough to allow for worker exposure during a production cycle. Sometimes local codes require additional environmental systems such as solvent recovery or fume removal.

Water Treatment Systems

The aeration of process fluids use the same "bubblers" as used in aquariums. Aqua culture requires aeration of ponds to increase the density of fish, shrimp and plants in commercial food production. Aeration systems are used in both industrial and municipal waste-water treatment to remove VOC's and organics by supplying the "BOD" (biochemical oxygen demand) necessary to oxidize these compounds. In some applications with lower bed depths, Blowers can be used to aerate the ponds. In other applications where odors are a problem, fans are used with exhaust hoods to control the foul air by creating a vacuum at the emission and forcing it through an odor control system or incinerator.

Wet Scrubber Systems

Simple scrubbers have been used in plating and foundry installations for decades. The simplest effluents can be scrubbed and form an airstream with ordinary water sprays. The original scrubbers simply added this scrubber water to the plating or foundry process. Higher capture technology demanded packed towers, staged trays, variable throat venturis and pad-type elements which require higher energy fans and acoustic devices. The fans and duct system must be protected from water and chemical corrosion. Eurovent makes fans in several alloys with special coatings and FRP construction available.
